Abstract:
Multilingualism enhances mutual understanding and facilitates the formation of respect for cultural differences. The language immersion program has come a long way of development and become a natural part of
the Estonian education system. The article describes the experience of Estonian kindergartens and schools on the implementation of the language immersion program and the results of using the methods of the content
and language integrated learning. The conditions for successful implementation of the language immersion program are observed here, and some guidelines for teachers on how to create these conditions are given
