Abstract:
In teaching physics, as well as in teaching other subjects, various methods of training have to be applied. At
the choice of these or those methods of training it is necessary to consider, first of all, character of the educational
tasks solved at a lesson, age features of the studying senior classes, students their aspiration to independent
judgments, the level of the informative abilities which are available for them. In the article multimedia
presentations are considered on the example of the section: «Mechanical oscillations and waves» and their
use in university and school physics courses. The relevance of the article is the need to develop a methodology
for presenting the topic so that it can be used to implement both basic and specialized education in the
school and at the university in the course of general physics. The theory of the question is briefly stated. Kinematic
and dynamic analyzes of the oscillatory process are presented. The features of the content of this topic
are analyzed in the university course of physics.
