Abstract:
In a scientific paper based on the analysis of the European Union's founding documents, the European Court
of Justice decisions, scientific literature, as well as changes in the founding treaties attempted to identify the
legal basis of the international legal personality of the European Union. This article deals with the conceptual
foundations and European legal regulation of the international legal personality of the European Union. On
the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the reform of the European integration model describes the elements
of the international legal personality of the EU, analyzes the specific features of the EU international legal
capacity, the development of its normative fixing in the euro-legal legislation is studied.
