Redox potentials of metal complexes, refraction values, and polarizability indicators of a donor—organic ligand—have been calculated. Correlation dependences between transition constants of outer sphere complexes to inner sphere ones and redox potentials of complexes, taking into account structural and energetic features of ligands and metal ions, have been established.

A new method for the hydrogenation of a primary coal tar fraction in the presence of a nanocatalyst at an elevated pressure in an atmosphere of hydrogen was proposed. The effect of the relative H-donor ability of the primary coal tar fraction on the yields of hydrocarbon fractions to 300°C and the solid residue was studied.

Thermodynamic aspects of the selection of sulfur-containing collectors during flotation of sulfide ores

Investigations into the complexing ability of sulfur-containing collectors relative to metal ions (Cu2+, Ni2+, Fe2+, Co2+) at 298 K and an ion force of 0.075–0.75 mol/L (NaNO3) are carried out. It is established that potassium dibutyl dithiophosphate possesses the largest affinity to metal ions among phosphorus-containing collectors, while the maximal complexing ability is characteristic of the Co2+ ion. Series of thermal stability are found; the variations in enthalpy, entropy, and the Gibbs energy, as well as temperature-dependent and temperature-independent contributions of complexes of metal ions with collector anions into ΔG 0, are calculated.

About Dirichlet boundary value problem for the heat equation in the infinite angular domain

In this paper it is established that in an infinite angular domain for Dirichlet problem of the heat conduction equation the unique (up to a constant factor) non-trivial solution exists, which does not belong to the class of summable functions with the found weight. It is shown that for the adjoint boundary value problem the unique (up to a constant factor) non-trivial solution exists, which belongs to the class of essentially bounded functions with the weight found in the work. It is proved that the operator of a boundary value problem of heat conductivity in an infinite angular domain in a class of growing functions is Noetherian with an index which is equal to minus one.
